And if you ever manage, it feels great 👍 and you'll likely find some sticky pennies or bonus £1 coins !

Many of you will have encrypted Laptops or PCs....a nice extra called BitLocker - if someone nicks your device and rips the hard drive out they wont be able to get any data. 

Same goes for you, if you lose that BitLocker KEY, you won't be able to access the data.

Keep your KEYs for each PC or Laptop safe and easily identifiable. This was part of the drama for IT teams during the Crowdstrike outage last month...they couldn't find their BitLocker keys.

At PURITY IT we store all clients keys securely and we can find one quickly if needed. Stored in a vault within a vault within a vault figurativley speaking, and no not in envelopes! Do not store them in envelopes.
